Peter Kennedy
Physiotherapist
Peter is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and Acupuncture Canada. He graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Physical Therapy in 1988. In 1995, Peter co-founded Unionville Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic and operated there until moving both his home and his practice to Stouffville in 2019.
Peter is a manual therapist who has taken many post-graduate orthopedic manual therapy courses over the years. He has also developed complementary craniosacral, visceral, and muscle energy techniques through numerous osteopathic courses.
These, blended with anatomical acupuncture, have allowed Peter to develop a personalized, evidence-based treatment style that has successfully served Unionville, Markham, Stouffville, and surrounding communities for the last 30 years.
On a personal note, Peter's two daughters played minor hockey here in Stouffville for several years with Peter as coach. Peter also enjoys golf, cycling, and kayaking with his wife, Wendy, a trained kinesiologist who now oversees the administrative side of Peter’s practice.
